A short song I made to express sorrow and loss. Pretty much how I was feeling at the time I made it. Nothing technically special about it, but I think it brings out the emotions I wanted to put across.P.S: Hey that kinda rhymes! :P Dying Words

Thanks for the comment to both of you by the way! Yeah, people have said before that it gives a feeling of hope, and that was what I was going for so I'm glad it worked :happy: . I don't have any plans for vocals yet, mainly because I don't have any lyrics for it and I can't sing. But if anyone could come up with some, I'd be interested in working with them.

Yeah, I don't really like the sound of the drums either, but they were the best I had to use with the program I used to make it. Logic Pro 9 was what I used to create the song, and all parts were played in on the keyboard using midi instruments.

There is woodwind and brass, but the strings dominate the music a bit. And it'd take too much effort putting together the score for it. Bad coming from a composer, but ah well.

This piece of music was made earlier in the year, as a remake of one of my songs. It starts with a simple major melody, with a feeling of innocence, but then goes into minor, feeling darker. It then starts to contrast between light and dark moods thoughtout the song, and finally at the end plays the first melody in minor key. It really makes me think of a story when I listen to it.
