  1. You can store music and have people feedback at the same time. Making a forum topic out of it in the first place strikes me as unhandy... Let's be honest... these tunes aren't really worth a lot of attention. I could make 3 topics with tunes that I do find worthy and if people like it they can listen to my other (minor) stuff as well... Or does everything have to be quality work? Isn't this a place to show your compositions no matter if they are sketches or experiments?
  2. Well, if it's necesary I hope the Mod would be so kind to remove all the jazz tunes first... And maybe it would be an idea to include the option wether you want to make a topic out of it or not... It strikes me as a little 'unhandy'...
  3. I'm sorry I don't even want to start any topic... Just upload the tunes... This seems to be impossible... Can I remove the threads but keep the files?
  4. Another esoteric tune... this time inspired by the cartoon: Adventure Time! The Ice-King Takes A Shower
  5. I like this song. I was pretty young when I wrote it and it has a happy but strange melody... When I Was Younger
  6. I think the best word to describe these tunes is esoteric. But of all tunes this one is the only one that doesn't have any other label... I think it lacks character...Our Hymn Our Hymn
  7. I picked the melody from E-Motion and started this way... Then came Link and 8-bit memories haunted me for a while... Beethoven said I should concentrate but Wagner tempted me into meteric modulation... Sieglink
  8. I'm really happy how this turned out... It's my first Minuet written for piano but played by three bassguitars... Menuet #1
  9. Although a plastic forest it's one of my the tunes that make me happy I composed it... :-)I especially like the E-Piano with its strange changing but static harmony... Walk In The Forest Walk In The Forest
  10. Imagine sitting in a black mercedes benz with your sunglasses on driving 200 km/h through a tunnel with all the lights flashing by... haha! E-Motion
  11. I think I was pretty fascinated with the sound of harmony (emancipated from function). My chord-knowledge was limited when I wrote it so be warned (when you check out the pdf)! Garden of Chrome Garden of Chrome
  12. Nothing special... even if I try to make a standard be-bopish song it turns out to have a irregular form... Doing (W)eights!
  13. Thanks for the advice! In this piece I tried to modulate in an organic manner but maybe I should shake things up a little. So both of you think that the build-up is to short, eh? What if it is just a teaser of more to come ;) ? That's how I think I wrote it. Anyhow, don't you get bored with the same accompaniment all of the time? I think that is what demotivates me from continuing, I can go hopping from key to key making transitions to the main-theme in major/minor keys for ages and meanwhile the accompaniment continues: monotonous
  14. Bittersweet! At least that's exactly what I wanted it to sound like. I agree with most (if not all) of your comments. I just don't know how to do it! It does have potential for development (like most of my unfinished tunes) but I think I will keep my previous work unchanged for a while until I feel confident and more knowledgeable to finally make something out of them sketches.
  15. My most complete piece... is incomplete because I got lost in some major key and I don't know how to get back or if I want to... Bella
