  1. I liked this piece. The chord progression in the beginning is misleading, which gives it a cool effect. I particularly liked the second half after the pause. It made me listen again. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, which seems too abrupt for me. :) Edit: I checked out the finale file and saw that the ending is better on there than the midi.
  2. This is a short piano piece that I wrote for my mom's birthday a few months ago. I wanted to give her something, but since I didn't have much money, I decided to write her something in finale printmusic. The problem was that I was in the middle of a long period of time when I couldn't write anything that sounded good. So, I decided to write a theme and variations using a very simple theme. :) It took about an hour to work out. I was suprised at how much creativity came from the simple arpeggios after so many months with no creativity at all. One part that I'm not totally sure I like is the last few lines where my syncopation is interrupted by sudden chords. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! DF_Mom.MID
  3. Great piece! This is what I do too. I originally numbered my work, but when the numbers got too high, I separated them by the year I wrote them. It makes sense to me that way.
