Just Another Battle Theme

Featured Replies

I wrote this one a couple of days ago. It's supposed to convey an RPG battle, obviously, hahaa. Uhh, it took me two days to write it, and again, like the rest of my music, I was too lazy to orchestrate it, so you can imagine it orchestrated if you want. Umm, I'm not really sure what else I can say about it.

There are some parts that are supposed to be 6/8 as opposed to 3/4 or visa versa, but the person playing the game isn't watching the notation anyways, so I didn't change them even though I should have. I also chose 13/8 instead of 9/8 and 2/4 or any other combination cause it looked cooler, haha. Also I guess there are some parts I could put in dynamics, but I'm never too confident with Finale that it'll play them how I want, so when I orchestrate it, I'll put them in. There, that's all I have to say. I hope you all like it =)

Yeah, it definitely sounds better with strings than piano. It actually reminded me of the music off of "Halo" (the video game). I liked it. Nice job with chords and I really enjoyed how the lower part offset the main structure of the piece. Very well done.

I messed around with it a bit and I think you could have a LOT of fun with accents on a piece like this. Try some different stuff. Accent some off beats. It makes it more thrilling and exhilarating! ;) Keep it up man!
