Ok, I see that post about celtic music, so I'd thought I'd post a piece I wrote a while ago for String Ensemble with a whistle/violin solo.

This is a piece I wrote in 2000 for string ensemble at college. The Penny Whistle is myself, and the violin soloist is Noelle DeCristiforo.

The string ensemble is the Mt. Hood Community College String Ensemble.

For sheet music lovers: I'm sorry but I don't have the means to open the older sheet music files. (older Overture files) For now all I can do is submit an mp3.

Well, it seems none of those discussing celtic music in another thread are commenting. Great to hear live recordings. This is a fine traditional celtic composition.

This is beautiful. Great writing...Great execution. The community college I went to has a string ensemble that would never ever compare to these guys.
