[Problem] Tambourine (Sibelius)

Featured Replies

Hi! This is my first of many (I hope :w00t: ) posts in this forum.

I'm working in a music and since 2005 I don't use Sibelius. :(

So, my problem is:

I have tambourine playing while nothing is playing and it's sound volume is very low. So I added an Expression Text "ff" but it didn't work, because it recognizes as text instead of a command...

So, do you know how to make the Tambourine lowder?

Thank You

Regards

Francisco Huhn

You should post this in the help desk. There aren't many Sibelius users on this forum, but there are a few that might be able to help you.

I'm downloading the Finale Notepad. I'm thinking in write a composition program like Sibelius and/or Finale, as I'm programmer and musician, but this... just in the future (1/2 years)

I use Sibelius. Don't just type "ff" for expression text. Instead type "CTRL - f" twice. This should make the text look as expression text should.

You would want to use the command Ctrl+E to add dynamics. But instead of changing the dynamics, why don't you just go into the mixer and increase the volume of your Tambourine?'

Hi :)

The tambourine can be held in the hand or mounted on a stand, and can be played in numerous ways, from stroking or shaking the jingles to striking it sharply with hand or stick or using the tambourine to strike the leg or hip.

Tambourines come in many different shapes with the most common being circular. You can change your playing way friend........
