I am the one having all the work, reading The Annotated Alice (of both books) to make a set of two operas (one on each book), and trying to understand plenty of the symbolisms to give them the right tone and energy!

August 24, 200718 yr Well, ironically enough I had begun work on setting several of Lewis Carrol's works to music. The first one I was going to do was Alice in Wonderland. Not an opera (that'd be too mean. I want Berlioz to do it first so I can steal all the nice melodies) but more like narrated music.
