A Whimsical Expression

Wow, this is so cool! Very John Cage-esque at the beginning (he really liked utilizing the sounds of nature, conch shells, etc.). I think the repetition in this piece is so right for it. A lot of times, repetition will get old, but you've utilized it in a very nice way, it really builds suspense and has a lot of character throughout. This is truly an amazing sound. It really kept me on the edge of my seat, like (in all honesty) classical music, even romantic, rarely has. Beautiful ending. Not only do I think your music is wonderful, but I think it is marketable, which is very necessary in the 21st century.

Once again, bravo! Your use of different instruments was very mysterious and exciting. I loved it!

Good day,

Evan

Definitely different

Marketable? perhaps...I know there are quite a bit of cd's out there with this type of music, though I do not think I have the proper knowledge to find out what is good and bad. Like judging a minimalistic piece based on its melody.

The entertainment industry and advertising are really big into this right now. Plus I really enjoyed it. I dunno...maybe I'm weird. Either way...

Welcome again Mr. Sepulker. Is this perhaps the less arrogant embodiment of your persona?

In any case, very interesting piece, I enjoyed it and makes for a very interesting ambience, almost like something from Half-Life 2 or Resident Evil at the beginning. Then it descends into a very upbeat bit with an almost ethnic feel to it. Very well done, I like it!

Sorry?... whos sepulker?

Of course, perhaps I am mistaken.

Still a great piece though
