Fleeting Hearts

Featured Replies

A melodic resource-trade song I just finished. This is my first composition in 3/4 time, and I'm rather pleasantly surprised with the result. :>

My personal favourite part is the quiet part with the harp, flute and oboe. :>

Instruments used:

-Flute

-Oboe

-Violin

-Cello

-Celesta

-Piano

-Harp

All feedback welcomed, and thanks for your time! :> The song is exclusive to/© and .

If I had to criticise it than I would say the melody doesn't really catch me...I listened to it twice and I can't hum it. Although if I remember I'll try again in the morning as tirdness may be a factor.

Other than that it is really reall beautiful and I wish to steal some of your excess talent somehow. XD

Thanks for the feedback! I do have to get some more practice on writing melodies, heheh. I guess in a way, it was affected by that amount of filler notes in there to keep it at a background music level, but now that I listen to it, the main melody is still rather dull. I'll surely keep that in mind in the future. :> Glad you enjoyed it over all.

Yea, pretty good, really like it when the duets between harp and the flute. Very calm and relaxed. Good stuff, keep up the good work!

This is good work. The melody doesn't have to be catchy. This is very laidback and enjoyable.

Well done
