polyrhythm and beam groupings in sibelius

with two voices, i'm trying to write in three against four: let's say 12 eighth notes against 4 quarter notes. the beam groupings are 3, 6 and 3. whereas i'd like 4, 4, and 4. how do i get sibelius to group the notes accordingly? thanks!!!

That's the one annoying thing about Sibelius - that it doesnt really understand different meters.

However, the thing to do to write 12/8 against 4/4:

1) Make 8 8th-notes

2) Tripletize all of them

3) Now "hide" the 3's (on top) and the time signatures

4) Now add new time signatures from "text"

You can now work 4/4 against 12/8 (or 3/4)
