I really wish IMSLP the best of luck. Being a very active member of the site, I feel strongly connected with the community and I really think that the idea of providing music for free around the world was an achievable goal through IMSLP. I believe that whatever happens, the idea behind IMSLP will never die and it will be revived in one way or another.

How do you feel about the actual closure though?

Cause I decided that I did not like the whole thing and situation at all! IMSLP closed down due to personal reasons and not due to UE attacking etc.

Reactions from IMSLP were nothing but childish (not from the actual IMSLP "founder" but the rest of the mods, a bit and mostly from outside people)

Various other irrelavent people and parties attached themselves in case they win something (I not the Sweddish Pirate Party, which in my opinion harmed the communication channels between IMSLP and UE if nothing else)

In short IMSLP is closed because the mods could not handle the pressure.

Certainly it was a great site, I hope to see it up again, and the circumstances on which it was up, are nothing but wonderous and a great applause to the people who kept it up for those 2 years. I mean no insult to them, at all!

Is it just me, or did they shut the imslp forums down as well? :huh:
