Piano solo g-minor

Featured Replies

I was motivated to compose a new piano piece, i think those who liked my previous post may like also this one. I am actually too busy, so I just recorded into a mp3-file. Its a very good acoustic quality (Bechstein piano). But I would like hear your opinion, I appreciate everyy comment.

piano-in-g-minor.mp3 - - Free file hosting - Files upload - Max 1 GB per file via FTP, 300 MB via HTTP, Subdomain, FTP access, the fastest 1-click free file-hoster

To download the file, just click on the link above, you will be redirected, than wait 30 seconds, until counter dissappears and than you can see the actual download link. (Than either Save As or direct click on it, both is ok). It works.

I think it sounds great. If it were me I would probably try and change up the left hand a bit to give it more variety in sound, but melodically it's quite a nice, relaxing sort of piece, though a bit short. Perhaps you could develop it a bit more?

But I agree, great recording!

Ooooo wow! That's very good. If you composed that so quickly you have a huge composition talent. Although i believe you haven't even written this down i can hear balance in it. You clearly have a feeling for music!

id listen but the mp3 site youre using sucks...or maybe its my computer...meh either way its not working

Maybe its your computer, which sucks, for me it works. But If you have any suggestion of other webspace I can upload it to, i can do it, which works also for you, if you are interested.

Cool! Very sad and sorrowful. Sounds a little like new age music by yiruma or richard clayderman.

Have you written this down yet?

I am busy too, and can not find the time to write things down... but i don't have the technology to record my ideas clearly (only recorders on my mp3, not as clear and hightech as yours).

But this is really good =]

p.s. something happened and it won't let me hear it up to 30 seconds.....

Whenever I try to listen to your music the site tells me I can't download.

I heard a snippet of one from anotehr thread (as it played my computer crashed) and I haven't been able to access them since.

You should probably consider using other hosting.

By the way, Welcome to YC. :)

I considered to reupload the pieces on another site. I posted the links as new thread in this piano section.

Thanks for feedback, I am technicaly quite a bad pianist, so I am limited by playing with this. By writing down the score I can vary the left hand more freely than in realtime playing, but its a good advice, I have to improve my technical skills. (On the other hand, maybe i wont be able to play it by myself :)

Of course its possible to develop the motives more, if you liked it now, its a good basis and impulse for me to develop it, I started already towards the end (the part just before the entrance motive is repeated), I have many ideas how to continue it in nocturno style.

Thank you! Youre right, I didnt write it down until now. But when I have recorded it, I cannot forget it :) and can write it down, when I have more time. Yes, I made this piece rapidly, (i must say the most time took it for me to play it techcnically as I wanted, that means the actual recording was harder for me than to compose it althought its not a difficult stuff :) )but I thing when somebody is inspired, it develops somehow very easy, there are also days when I have absolutely no musical ideas and cannot explain it.

I have the same problem with a lack of time, I often had good ideas, but i didnt record or notate thinking, that I wont forget, but thats the point, you will forget it :) Now I have a very good feeling, when some people here enjoy my compositions, so I am motivated to recorded them and present here. Try the new links I posted, if you have stil problems downloading.
