Chris
Hi, musical dumbass here. What do you call it when you turn the stem of a note upside down? (like when you're writing a bass part) And more importantly how do I do it on Sibelius 3? (I could probably figure how to do it if I only knew what they were loving called! :D) I have like a bass clef part, 3/4 time, and I want the first note to last the duration of the bar, and then the other two to just be crotchets. So I need to flip the longer note. But what is it called when you flip a note? Thanks. :)
nhomas
I think I understand what you're talking about. You want multiple voices in a stave. Searching the docs for "voices" should give you the info you want.
Chris
Thanks man, I actually already knew of this, but I was hoping there was another way besides using this dumb colour-code stuff! Oh well... Thanks again mate ;)

hopper
You are afraid... of... WORDS? We also try to use proper English grammar and spelling. It's not so much that we're afraid, as it is that we're trying to keep the forums with a certain tone about them.

James H.
No, my mind tells me Eb3. Besides, the forums here seem enharmonically challenged at times.
