Completorium - Live Recording with video!

I wrote this piece for a dutch composition contest. The theme of the contest was 'Night'.

In my piece I try to represent the change from morning into day, day into evening/night, night into morning and at last morning into day. For the Dutch contest I wrote a very extensive description about the melodies, the themes etc but my English isn't good enough to do it in English, so I hope you hear what I mean.

Unfortunately I could only write for one percussionist. By the way, it's my first "real" composition.

Wow! Very nicely done. I liked the transitions you used from section to section and the amount of contrast between parts. Very well written.

Hmmm....It's pretty good. Some of the parts get a little blended with each other and it doesn't sound great, but it isn't really too bad. That just fixes itself over time as you compose more. Overall, it was pretty good.
