Main Theme (Inspired by "Wicker Park" 's main titles.

Now, when i come to think of it, i better share 2 samples.. the first is really just a sample... 1 min file of something im currently working on, but abandoned for the moment. It's a theme I thought of after watching Wicker Park movie. May sound cliche but it fits (imho) the main titles.

main theme harp 2.mp3 - 1.00MB

This, the 2nd one, is the complete part 1 of 4-part Sea Suite (wrote it after i had some nice but weird experience underwater)...It's called "A Fly-by" .

project 22a.mp3 - 2.02MB

The first piece have some major sampling problems.. as the dbass didnt play correct, cuz i simply forgot to set it to sustained notes and all it's playing here is short. But still, do your feedback...especially if u've already seen the movie.

I have never seen Wicker Park, but this is nice music.

The second one has some great dissonance in it. I like what you have the strings doing with the tremelos as the brass plays.

I relly enjoy the staccato in the strings at the endand would like to see that extended.

All in all you have presented a piece that shows off your command of both articulations and dynamics.

Well done

Ron

I agree.

The only constructive criticism I can make is "I want more!", so I think you did a pretty good job. I really like the way you move between moods, from optimistic, to sad-ish, to suspicious, and do it flawlessly.

Thank you guys for the kind words. I too wish to continue with all the projects i've started, but it's kinda busy life lately.. I'll try to post more, and update these, if possible in the future. I really appreciate your feedback. Good one at that!
