The hi-hat rhythm just came to me this morning. I tried to make it somewhat of a minimalist piece.

A nice start. You are the one to decide its length and instumentation, but I cvan see it going a bit longer and maybe a few more types of percussion could be added for color.

The bad thing about notation programs, is the machine gun effect. You have it bad in the snare section. You might want to tone it down a bit so it isn't quite as obvious.
