Rain for piano

Featured Replies

Hey there!

I really like your piece...I think I've commented on this thread before...

But still. I really enjoy it, but I still think the rather spontaneous ff sections need a little work. They're kind of just...there, you know? There's no noticeable transition. But that's just how I see it.

Otherwise, great job!

Thanks blackballoons!

According to the dynamics, of course a live performance would be better, I mean, the pianist can give more feeling to it and maybe soften the ff passages, some people also hate the staccatos there, its just my suggestion, if someone likes, it can even been played legato, which is also nice. Firstly I played it at higher speed by composing it, but later one friend from the web changed it and I realised that its better (the actuall mp3 file is the speed I like), so what I want to say, the pianist as interpreter influences the final effect a lot :-) I am looking forward to hear it played by good pianist. I myself am a very poor one :-)

hey i know how inspiring the rain can be when it comes to music ..... keep it flowing..

this was great!
