"Manta-Rays" for small percussion ensemble

So I figured before I delve deeper into the website I thought that I might share one of my own pieces.

This is called "Manta-Rays", a small movement of a 4 piece ensemble work entilted "Gods of the Sea."

It means to portray the movement of a large group of manta-rays coming, and then of course going. I try to inject the ambience of the underwater creatures by using keyboard percussion.

I've tried to hear this music - twice yesterday and just now - and all I get is the error message "Server error. Retry later."

The concept for this piece sounds intriguing so I hope you can fix the problem.

I would enjoy hearing more toy and effect percussion. I think it would add a depth to the piece that would make it even more mysterious.

A nice concept for instrumentation and color. It is very pleasant to listen to. However, this seems like something that might go in the Incidental section of the forum.

This piece would benefit greatly if you continued to develop and construct your material and work on the form of the piece. As nice as it is to listen to it seems more like incidental music for chamber ensemble as opposed to a chamber work with development for small percussion ensemble.

Whether or not you choose to have more interplay and dialogue between the instruments is up to you but it will defeinitely add more depth as well as an oportunity to pass the material around while developing your material and moving it forward.

The harmony also seems a bit static. So some development in that area would be nice as well. :)
