Please Give Me Some Advice On This

This is a piano piece I recently started composing. It is what I believed the final product would be, but I have been told that it kind of rambles and that it's also the same thing over and over, AND that it has some good variation. That's three somewhat contradictory statements. Yet, people even contradict themselves, so it must be true.

Please listen and does anyone have any advice for how I could make it flow better or whatever is necessary?

It sounds pretty good, but you need to develop your themes a little more and some more bass line, in my opinion. Towards the end, it tends to drive a little towards atonality. I don't know if this was your intention, but if it wasn't, then you should fix it to sound a little more tonal. You have a good sense of creating variations, so that is a big plus!

What kind of musical style is your piece?

That was pretty good, you obviously have a knack for variations and you used it really well throughout the piece to keep it interesting. Though my only complaint is it felt like on the end of page 3 and beginning of page 4 you were building up suspense and then it was lost; just my opinion. Perhaps, you could add a bit more to 10-7 measures from the end, but keeping the way you ended. Good luck, you do good work :)
