Death of a Talented Ziegler

I posted this in the wrong forum I think. It was under Experimental, and that was a mistake.

This is my first song, so please tell me what you think.

BUMP!!!

Don't get me wrong, but I found it kind of boring. It needs a well established melody not just chords. All you have right now are arpedeos and a sometimes interesting chord progression. Again got take me the wrong way, it's a good start, but it needs work on a melody.

BORING!!!

1. You really need work on the melody.

2. Get to the point around 1:10! I had to listen to that crappy section repeat again and again for over 20 seconds!

3. Work on your accompaniment! Make it a lot more interesting!

And you expected to get comments right away on THAT? You didn't even explain it. I can't believe I had to tolerate that crap for three and a half miuntes... :(

Yea it's boring, but it's only this persons first song. beau_rl: I'm sure if you work on the piece, especially the melody, I song would be much better. Explain piece.

Jeremiah Hong: After seeing your clown picture for awhile I have to say it freaks me out. lol I don't know why but it's kind of creepy. >_< I have trouble trying to decide if the clown wants to hug or kill me...or worse...both.

Ha! Lot's of people are freaked out by my avatar. I don't know why so many people are afraid of clowns. I might change it.

Fine, that's my mistake. What I meant to say was that you're too harsh on criticisms in general. Even on some pieces that are really good.

Hello, well you know the "water effect" is pretty original though it could be a little more organize at times, just a bit. This piece reminds me of rugratts the cartoon. I am happy I heard it. It gave me some peace of a childish sort. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

It wasn't good, but for a first peice...

...well, Mozart didn't start write great operas when he was 14.

Okay, maybe he did, but my point is, we all have to start somewhere. So about the peice...I thought it was boring, and to repetitive. It needs more of a melody. But better than my first peice, I can tell you that. In my opinion, it's a good start. Just keep trying and you'll get better and better. Good luck :P !

Well, now that I listen to it again, it's not that bad for a FIRST piece. You mind telling me what the hell is a Ziegler?
