I've had a listen to your Opening and on the whole I liked it. However, there were some moments when the melody and the harmony didn't agree with each other too well and these parts weren't very pleasing to the ear. For example, in the beginning there are one of two notes which on the first listen sounds like the player played the wrong notes.

I did really like the strumming in the background. Something you may want to try is resting it half-way through and making it return towards the end of the piece. That may make the guitar even more effective.

As I said before, I quite liked the piece. There are some minor things which you may or may not want to think about. Anyhow, well done!

Hey, it seems your thread won't "die unanswered" this time ;)

Anyway, let's go to your piece:

I like the general mood of it, particularly due to the acoustic guitar on the background: that was a really good choice! The melody is also pleasant to listen to and it sounds better when combined with the guitar. However, I'm afraid it is a bit louder than it should be (I'm not referring to the harp introduction, but to the following vocal parts). Moreover, though the melody is beautiful and suitable to the atmosphere of the piece, I think it should be improved by means of shape and contour - in other words, you don't need to change the main notes, but just give them a refinement touch.

You did a nice job, congratulations!
