Since your criticism is more related to production issues (and I appreciate that as well), I've got to agree with you in that it does need some "technological enhancement"...

That because so far I've been more concerned with the piece itself than to the mixing or equalization of it (actually, I'm not an expert when it comes to recording procedures).

If I were to make a professional release of this project (and this might happen at some point in the future), I'd have some someone to do this part of the job.

Anyway, I'd be glad if I could get some help in it!

The piano does have some sound problems, but the music is great.

The piano sounds like there is a bit too much reverb on it and the eq problem could be fixed by increasing the bass and tenor a bit.

I see the effect you are after and it can be acheived by adding reverb to the rest of the orchestra instead of the piano.

Still a very nice piece.

For the next days, I'll be working on the enhancements you suggested.

However, I will have to overcome some technological limitations in order to fix these problems, since I'm not that expert in recording procedures...

Anyway, I'll let you know as soon as I come up with a newer version of the piece!

I had to remix it in order to fix the "odd" piano sound...
