"Rondo to the Stars" for Solo Piano

Featured Replies

This is my latest piece for piano. I couldn't do a record from a real piano this time unfortunately but I tried to make it sound as "real" as possibly using a sampled piano.

I'm looking forward to your comments!;)

I really, really, like it! it is appealing to the ears. I like the change in rythm and the dynamics, very well done.

That was very good. I thought that the middle themes didn't make up enough time to compensate for the length of the main theme which you used a few times. I think if you added a bit more of the middle theme, it would make the peice overall more coherent.

Well that's exactly what I feared after writing this - that the "main theme" would come up too often and too long. But in the end I thougt it is allright as it is because it's a Rondo and the theme is just the most important thing;)

But maybe your right and maybe I'll work it over again

I thought it was lovely...I think I may even learn to play it.

I loved the rhythm changes...my favourite bar/s were those like bar 10...That rhythm was beautiful.

In general it was great! :)

I'm sure you'll manage...:)

nice! I like the rhythms especially the tuplets in the left hand around measure 57 and 111 etc

Thanks josephwilliam!

Last Sunday I actually got the opportunity to record this piece on my own piano! I've uploaded the file for those who might want to have a listen to it (it really sounds much better than the file I've originally posted!):
