"uculete"

Hi everybody,

I'm not really a composer, I just try to learn a bit about music and composing... so please be gentle.

This is only my second song... unfortuately I don't have a sustain pedal for my keyboard and had sustain 'on' all the time (+ some reverb), but other than that I would love to hear what you think...

Here's the little song:

tmp.mp3 - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage

thanks.

Hi!

I'm also from Romania... :D

Your piece is lovely! It's a nice lullaby!

I think practicing is the best way in improving yourself! Try next time, if you like, chords other than the principle ones (I, IV, V). But if your piece is meant to keep only these chords, there is no problem in that, in my opinion!

About replies to your piece... You would get a lot more if you had a score, I think... :P

Nice job!

P.S. Where does the name "uculete" come from? Just curious... :P

hi! Thanks for the reply...

the piece is meant to be simple (that's why I used only I, IV, V).. unfortunately, i lost the score and i'm too tired to write it again... i will, at some point.

as for the name... it's how I call "my better half"... and the piece was made for her...

This is a great, simple song - fine melody, even the sound of the mp3 isn't bad.

Sorry that I can't say more; you hit what you were trying on the head :)

Great work.
