It's good to comment other pieces, but perhaps don't you have a lots of time ?

I listened to your composition, Maestro. It's a little too "classical" (particularly the refrain, reminds me some troubadour's songs and the end) and easy listening for me... so I'm not in a position to make a comment.

But for guitar, I prefer other guitar maestros like Arnaud Dumond who puts a more contemporary touch (percussion effects, con metallo play, speak, etc...) but keeps the tradition of guitarra => for example, some samples Extraits sonores d'Arnaud Dumond (enjoy :))

I'm hearing Bach cello suite gavottes en rondeau all over the place

Almost baroque. I like it in that context.

I'm curious about the instrument. I've never heard a guitar that sounded quite like that. Maybe a nylon string with metal fingerpicks?

Thanks for the comments people...

Yes, it is midi guitar...

I admit Im a big admirer of Bach and I tended to go in that direction, for my 1st classical/baroque composition.

Rapha

I quite fancy your rondo. It has some Blackmore's Night flavor in it which I really like. Great! :)

Hello,

As much as it is very conventional, it's still well written in the style. I've never written for guitar myself, but I'm just wondering if you've had this actually played on the instrument? At times it sounded like it couldn't be played on the one instrument, at least not with the clarity that the midi instrument can achieve. Perhaps a guitar duet would work better?

Best wishes,

Camilla

very nice!!! would love to see a score, but this can definately be played by one guitarist; a lot can be done on the classical guitar!!!! Modern sounding, yet very classically grounded. That guitar sound is quite intriguing though!!!! Can you play this yourself? Great little solo piece imo!
