October 9, 200817 yr I recently heard of this (Frank Zappa) piece and was curious, does anyone know who manages to pull off a decent recording of this piece, or is it like Opus Clavicembalisticum that there are no good recordings? I take that back, I remember I hear good things about John Ogdon's but are there any good recordings of the Black Page? Oh and did that guy manage to make a good transcription for drums?
October 10, 200817 yr I don't know if there are any good recordings of it, though I imagine there would be somewhere. Frank Zappa has a whole heap of recorded music, a lot of which that can be quite hard to find, I imagine. Anyway, since I really can't answer your question, I'll just say that the main reason I'm commenting is just because it's a pretty cool piece!
