MidtownTraffic
Sorry for such a stupid question, but I'm very unexperienced in composing. I made a pizzicato passage in one of my latest pieces, but I don't know how to notate the end of a pizzicato section. I want it to go back to regular bowing, how can I notate this in Sibelius 5? Thanks in advance!
MidtownTraffic
hey,You can just write "arco" to indicate a return to bowing. I imagine sibelius has some articulation feature or something that says arco, or you could just type it in. "pizz." and "arco" should be written above the staff Thank you :). Yeah, I've been typing it in. I haven't found any of the symbols for any dynamics yet. They're very well hidden haha.
Old Composer
For dynamics : Apple key + E. Then holding the Apple key still, type your dynamic (fff-ppp) For techniques: Apple key +T. This works for pizz and arco. If you're not on a mac, I think the apple key is replaced by the ctrl key.
