This is a two-part trumpet sonata that ive just written for my friends birthday. It is Spanish inspired (i think because i play classical guitar that this kind of musical idiom is just in-built/ingrained in me now!!). Would really appreciate any trumpeter or pianists comments, as i don't play either (well i play piano, but not well). I wanted the siciliana movement to be slow and languorous, and to contrast really heavily to the dance movement. The siciliana is in Ternery with a coda, and the danza is a rondo. Hope the key and register isn't too hard for the trumpet... Thanks for any comments!
