I happen to enjoy experimental compositions such as this. I'm not quick to dismiss them. I understand the importance of using sound however we feel we need to, to embrace our own experience of sound.

Your choice of title is also a good one.

to me, naming the piece (if it's not named due to the system or technique of it), is a part of creative proccess. with this one, while listening to it, i had a feeling that this instrument going from bass and up, somehow felt like joy, something pretty joyfull, and due to the slow and suspended start and finish it was, well, maybe secret/strange/marginal/small joy, so hence the name.

i wanted to add voice to it (parallel to the solo), but i do not know many singers, well, only one, but we could not get it done through the internet.

so it's sort of in a draft form.

this is fantastic, the simplicity (lack of lots of instruments, certainly not the sounds) really makes the composition work beautifully. are these fm synthesis sounds or did you create them digitally with a vst etc?

i used wasp plugin and tweaked it some with waveshaper. usually i would use some acoustic sample (with various waveshaping techniques) for this kind of sounding, but for this one, i see, it was wasp.

Bravo! I really enjoyed this composition.

The sounds in themselves are interesting but the way you have combined them into a musical structure is very well done - the piece has a flow building up to a climax and then dying away with a repeat of the opening ideas.

Absolutely...The naming of a piece is all apart of the process.

Usually, I already know what I'm writing about whilst in the thick of it.

However, to fit the right title, as in the proper sequence of words, can be enjoyable.

I enjoyed your piece as well as the title....

A good title can always catch the eye or bring a potential listener in.

I'm not a big fan of the redundant classical titles that predominate....

In one of Frank Zappa's wonderful pieces....

"I promise Not To Come In Your Mouth"...

Now that's a good title....
