"Rendevous Point"

Featured Replies

This is a rather short piece that I didn't really spend all that much time working on. The goal of this piece was for me to get the ideas down on computer before I completely forget them, later next year I will come back and revise the piece most likely.

What I had in mind while writting this was a group of 7 spies escaping from some type of military installation while being pursuit[?] [pursued?]

by an entire platoon of said hostile armies best troops.

Comments/feedback appreciated as always.

What is a lot of time to spend on a piece?

I average around 40 hours to get a piece ready for posting and then more time getting it right.

I have friends who spend 100 or more hours on a piece before they even think about posting it. I know another guy who does one or 2 pieces a year and yet another guy who finishes a piece in a couple of hours.

So time is relative (to borrow from Einstein).

This is a good start and with time could be very good. Depends on your relatives.... no that's not right.

I look forward to hearing it when you have done more to it.

I spent , accumulated, less than 2 hours on this.

I plan on reworking every piece I uploaded whenever I get the full version of finale, which cost stupid amounts of money >.>

"which cost stupid amounts of money"

.... oO

Good, good.

The beginning was missing something, maybe to many low strings, not enough high.

The middle to the end was good, I liked the tension feel to it.

Good piece.

PS. Finale i believe with a student discount is only $350.

According to the website, it woud cost me 500 dollars or around that.

I don't know if I would classify as a student but I'll look into it, student seems like a very broad term.

It cost a lot to me since I don't have 350 $, only have 100, or 500 $.

It sounds like a good start. I particularly like the part with the piano uses triplets close to the end. I look forward to hearing an improved version of this.

As for choice in software, I just have this to say:

Do your research on which software you want to get, otherwise you might find yourself using a program you are not too fond of like yours truly .
