I have a tune!!

Yeah so I've got this tune which I think is quite nice, but I really don't know what to do with it. At the moment I just have it as a string quartet and it's very simple. I think it could be scored for an array of instruments & I just don't know what to choose, and I haven't a clue how to expand on or develop it.

It is a nice peice of music. If you want to score it them have people tell you what instrument they play, I play Bb Clarinet. Each peice has its own way to say it is done so just listen to your heart. :) :)

True, but in this case I'm really not sure what instrumentation would be best, or even what style of music would be best! I could have it more classical, or I could have it more poppy.. I don't know! :thumbsup:

hey can use this for my music..........i doing someting new I'm a solo artist. and putting together classical music with guitar and keyboard and drums. i really like this tune you did a good with it. this is the first album i'm putting together......what i do is i right a song then i find a piece of classical music that fits with the music. then i use a part of classical piece for the chorus and the bridge, the verse are totally me the problem is that i don't compose classical music so what do you say

Sounds fine! The bass line suggests strings and it would sound good for a string orchestra. At a later stage the theme could be played an ocatve higher (with adjustment to the chord layout). Re instruments - as an earlier poster said, listen to what your heart has to say. Clarinet and flute are possibilities.
