Violin and Harp

Okay, I need to name this song. It's a duet with Violin and Harp that marius helped me with (thank you so much!). It was originally for piano and violin, but I changed the piano to harp, because my dad said it would sound better.

This is extremely beautiful at times, heartbreaking almost. You've got some amazing melodies and harmonies in here that just scream with emotion.

I will however point out that at times your rhythm is somewhat odd (to my ear at least) and it seems to break to otherwise beautiful flow that the piece has. This is a minor thing, and keeping in mind that it's 4am, I might just be imagining it!

I agree with Cavatina, though, too. The rhythms sometimes seem to get lost or off. It is most apparent around bars 23-30. It seems like you have changed meter, but you remain in 3/4.

Even so, it is a beautiful piece and would be worthy of performance.

Hmmm...the .mus is supposed to be harp. I just fixed that. I still don't see any problems from 23-30, especially not with changing time signature...*confuse* Is the mp3 link still broken?

Nor should you - it is just a matter of what my ear likes and doesn't. I found it somewhat odd at times, but that doesn't mean much: your piece is very good! :(

By the way, the harp sounds very nice in this piece :( I prefer it to the piano!

Hmmm...I still don't understand the whole wrong time sig, though, because those measures consist mostly of dotted half notes...
