A tiny, tiny lied that I started yesterday morning and finished last night. The text is a poem by Goethe:

Nope, it's interesting. Sorry but I just have limited knowledge about the piano. But as for the overall piece, It's pretty nice.

Give more time to others to study the score so they can give their comments about the piece.

Do you have any idea how to covert .mus files to .pdf.

(Sorry, I'm not that good at computers :P)

Go to Google and search for PDF Creator - it's a free software that acts as a printer. Then in Finale, go to File->Print, then change the default printer to PDF Creator, and that's how it'll roll.

I'll look over the score/listen in a bit, I just woke up.

I don't find it interesting. You use essentially three chords, and of all of those, the one that is used LEAST is the single predominant. The tonal music framework that you have set up looks something like this:

T-------------------------------------------D-T.

The few predominant chords you have do not make up for the overwhelming static nature of your harmony, and you don't sit long enough in the dominant for there ever to be a prolongation. Your melody is fine - but there are many more-interesting choices to be made with it. I'd say go back and study some Schubert lieder to get a solid ground on the way the great songwriters of the 19th century used chromatic alteration. Your framework should look a bit more like this:

T------P-------------------------D-----T. The "P" (predominant) section is actually made up of a LOT of different chords that all can shift into each other.

I'm sorry, I really don't know much about analysing compositions :headwall: (I just started composing) here are a couple things I noticed.

• 
  some of the trills and fast notes you have for the piano are just TO fast if you expect an intermediate musician to play them. I am an early-advanced pianist and it would still be difficult for me to play them, though I think I could if they were just a little bit slower. Of course, If you are writing with proffesionals in mind, it probably wouldn't be a problem.
  since there are four stanzas in Gerfunden, I would suggest giving each one a distincly different feel or melody (maybe change scales or modes), because right now even though you have several melodies it seems somewhat repeditive.
  maybe you could play around with the accompaniment some, (not that I know much about creating good accompaniments, it is one of the toughfest parts for me) but for some reason, it feels like you could variate the accompaniment some.
  

Remember, I could be completely wrong about everything I said, but hopefully this will be helpfull.
