Out of curiosity I attempted to compose a piece of music. I don't know that I was quite successful, but it is certainly a piece of something. The name is a pun, sort of.

I think my biggest problem with this is that there's no development - you have some nice themes, but then you just randomly meander all over the place with sixteenth notes.

Try finding on motive, or musical idea, that you like, and develop it - make the piece go somewhere.
