String Serenade No. 4 in G minor

Hello again.

Ah, yet another String Serenade...yup. Well, let's see how you all like it.

String Serenade No. 4

It is in no particular format, as usual. I try to bring back recurring elements and make variations in my pieces, and this is no exception. That's not to say that I succeeded, however. It took me about 3 hours or so to write. Maybe 4. Okay, perhaps 5. I'm not sure. Anyways...

Tell me what you think. I would really appreciate criticism and suggestions, especially specific ones.

Oh, and the swell at 2:01 is supposed to be bigger, but finale's not terribly good at rendering things like that (or I'm not good at rendering finale...). Either way, just "imagine." :D

It's a good start. It sort of has that "movie scene" sound to me. Measures 22-24 reminded me of Peter Pan for some reason. See if you can make it into an mp3 (if you don't know how i can walk you through it, I have easy instructions) and host it, because it ALWAYS sounds different on the composer's computer than on everyone else's computer.

I guess not everyone (or anyone, sometimes) can like a piece. Still, I appreciate your comments. At least I know now that it is possible to NOT like the piece. :P

Although, it would have been nice to hear a little more detail about the piece.

Wow truly beautiful. I love how it isn't complex but yet it expressed more than it looks like it could've. Great Job!

Thank you so much for your comments! I took your advice, Nico, and messed around with the piece a bit. I basically just cleaned it up. Very minor changes.
