Ok so i have finally finished up this song i made for a project.

You may have heard an earlier Work In Progress version of it, but now its done and its time for me to move on.

I am very impressed by this piece. It is very solid from beginning to end. I think the panning could be a little more centralized (I think that because I hear better on my left ear, so the sounds on the right speaker sound lower to me) but overall its very enjoyable. What is the history behind the piece?

I particularly like the strings arpegiatting at the end, and the use of the bells. good work

It sounds pretty darn good, in my opinion. It would fit a videogame perfectly in some kind of a battle scene. I like the use of bells and the drum rythym. It gives a ancient-fantasy-medieval feel to it.

I'm really looking forward to your next piece, if you're making one. ^_^

Wow. I'm not big on game music, but that's excellent.

SWEET!

I would imagine it as part of a game not necesarily for a battle but more for some like medal of honor where you are walking through and killing off enemies... Anyways I liked it.

I remember listening to this when it was a WIP, and the chimes (bells) added helped it a lot. It really helped chisel out the melody from the tide of background. Not that the background is overpowering, it's really quite artful. The string runs are brilliant, and the development of the theme is fantastic. One critique might be that the ending, just the last few beats, lack any great resolution. For Incidental Music, that works fine, I suppose, but I think a culmination to the chord progression without any percussion, just a full orchestral sound, would be a good fit. But that's just my uninformed opinion.

Hmmm, I hear a lot of possibilities for soundtracking here. Just a question about it, when one writes music like this, is there a scene you have in mind? It's not entirely programmatic aside from it's obvious underlying emotions. I wonder how you would continue to develop this scene into an entire film score. Think about it!

The insistent (and very Japanese RPG-like) irregular 12/8 pattern of 123-123-12-12-12-12 is what stands out to me. You've done a great job on the timbres and orchestration, and especially the percussive elements. There are elements that seem a bit cliché, but you've got some excellent material here.
