MaestroMarvel
It was written back before Bach was even living. Any of you familiar with it? My orchestra is playing it and I really like it... well... for what it is... Any thoughts?
SSC
Fantastic piece. Really spectacular! I think Biber is pretty neat overall but this just takes the cake... though of course I'm referring to the famous section with the melodies, but hell it's just great he did that. Also check out Biber's extended techniques for strings, totally awesome stuff!

MaestroMarvel
I love the double bass "snare drum" effect in the march movement... And the cannon shot effect...

MaestroMarvel
Exactly, Magna Carta. The magnificence of Biber's work is that it was so... after his time. He reminds me greatly of Ives. He was even before Bach, which really amazed me.
