March 31, 200916 yr Of course, it's perfectly realistic to show up on the forum with a subject for a fugue, 45 minutes before you need to leave and present it, and expect advice on how to improve it. 45 minutes isn't going to make a difference. Your theme does need work. Do it with your teacher.
March 31, 200916 yr The subject is good, but by itself it dont mean much, put togehter the part writing and then post, so you can show how you treat the material and counterpoint :)
March 31, 200916 yr Author i showed it with my teacher tonight and he said it was really good and had lots of good parts to it I can use to make a development section sound really good. He thought maybe it's better to make the turn in the first measure to resolve on the D which is also the first note of the theme. We continued talking about fugues in general and told me to study Bach and come back next week with more written.
