a rabbit hole of limited consequence

this is my second string quartet, which makes use of multiple percussion instruments and spoken dialogue. It's a pivotal part of my thesis composition at UC Riverside, Pervigilium Veneris

is that bad?

I like it

looks nifty.

are the backwards flat signs quarter tones?

I'm quite impressed! But I'd be hardpressed to give a full review without hearing it. I'd love to hear this sometime!

thanks, I don't have a midi version, but there are a couple of string quartets working on it right now, so hopefully there will be a recording soon.

The backwards flats are a quarter-tone flat. the double flat (one backwards) is three quarters flat.

To hear a recording of this would be great. and i would love to see it performed... its very philisophical? is that the right word? lol.. Nice quotes thought!

Hmmm.... It's very interesting. I would like to knoww how you computerized all of this and put it in PDF. I would love to heara it too. It looks wonderful. I look forward to those recordings:).

Anyway, you didn't write your name on the score :)

I never do- feel free to steal it and pass it off as your own! :)

In answer to the question, I wrote it almost entirely on Sibelius 5.
