I wrote these simple songs because I'm a huge fan of James Joyce. I'm not real fond of these poems, per se, but when I read that his dream was to have them all set to music, I figured that would be cool (I know other composers have already done this).

Anyway, the first five are for baritone and piano. Here's the middle movement.
