I listened to it, And I think it was quite ok. A bit traditional, both in form and harmony.

I think you need to define more clearly (for the sake of this discussion) wheter you write this for a regular wind band or (as you stated in the first post) for a symphonic wind ensemble. I guess the latter is the case, so this piece should not be compared with any band, but considerd as a orchestral piece without strings ;)

I am not sure though if your orchestration is always effective, but I wouldn't consider myself an expert.

I would like the harmonies a bit more exciting, although there are some interesting progressions. Keep up
