Overture from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

This is yet another drum corps arrangement. So you'll hear a lot of drumline and loud hornline.

I know it's just the finale sounds, please try to critique the content and not the type of sound library I'm using.

I have GPO, but I choose not to use it.

I liked it but can you lower the reverb or make a better mix it just sounds so muddy and far away that it's very difficult to hear the drum lines at all. Not sure if it's just poor youtube quality or what, can you post an MP3? I liked what I heard though, very epic. By the way you said you used finale but not GPO, isn't finale already using GPO sounds or did you deliberately turn them off? If you did may I ask why out of curiosity?

This is not bad for a render right out of finale. I am also curious as to why you would choose not to use GPO. When used properly, GPO is a great sounding library.

I also invite you to join in the community as much as possible. The more we listen to each other's music and comment on it, the better the site will be.

I just don't like how GPO makes my compositions sound. It sounds too synthesized and more muddy than the regular finale sounds.
