First Orchestral Composition.

This is the first sample of a orchestral piece I have started and wondered If I could have some advice, its the first piece I have ever composed :blush:

You should upload it to another host. One that doesn't have you waiting for 1 minute. I know it's nothing but a lot of people are turned off by it. Mediafire.com or speedyshare.com are good ones.

Hi, Sorry about the delay, I wasnt sure which to use, I will upload again using one of your recommended hosts.

I have uploaded the MP3 to Speedy Share.

It sounds pretty. But at most spots, I don't understand what's going on. There's not much clarity within the instruments. I can't distinguish which one is the melody and the harmony... it all sounds like different instruments competing for the spotlight. Maybe it's just me. It gets a lot better at 1:00, it's quite good here with the clear counter-point lines. Pretty good for a first orchestral composition.

Thank you for the advice, I will try my best to improve the identification of which is the melody/harmony.

Also I will try and add more dynamics/clarity to the instruments as you suggested.
