I see you are jumping right into commenting. That is great. It will take you some time to see who will return the favor and who will not.

Some people here like to see scores if at all practical. I compose using a sequencer so it is rare that I post scores.

Doing experiments like this is the quickest way to learn our craft. This piece could use a bit more work, or you could do as many of us do and just move on to the next piece. What's great about composing music is that almost everyone gets better the more works they do.

You are right. Thanks for your suggestions :D Can I post the MIDI file instead of score?

Some people like midis. I don't. They are never reliable when switching between programs.

What most here do is make a PDF of the score and link to it.

Some people can't decide if they like a piece of music unless there is a score. It's kind of like going to see a movie and because you don't have the script, the movie becomes a waste of time. But there are others here that can help you a lot with your music if you post a score.

If people post a score, I always look to find obvious errors, but there are some here that can really tear a score apart, if that is your desire.

I tried to convert MIDI to score using Sibelius 4, but I couldn't get the result I wanted. Which program should I use for converting MIDI to score?

Get a program like Primopdf. it is free. once you have it loaded, it will act just like a printer. Go into sib and go to print score. Select PrimoPDF and it will make a PDF file for you. Then just upload the file to a host like Boxnet and supply a link and your set.

The good thing about posting a score is that some members here only comment on the score, which I think is extremely beneficial considering most composers always have flaws in it.

I just like seeing a score because the digital interpretation isn't always clear on which instrumen is playing what.

isn't always clear on which instrumen is playing what.

LOL argh, I know. Midi. Yuck

Sounds great. The oboe/bassoon solo sounds seem to work well in such a funereal setting.
