Fruity Loops Question

Hey guys

I've having a problem with the last note not being played correctly in FL 8, for some reason it won't play out it's full length (even with the sustain on those notes turned all the way up), and there's also this weird crackle that happens too (and it's not because it's too loud). I'm at a loss for a way to fix it, anybody have any suggestions?

You can hear what I'm talking about if you listen to the last 5 seconds or so here.

Some information:

I've tried exporting it as a WAV and converting it to MP3, lowering the bitrate, making sure the "Leave Remainder" option is selected, and even putting a pattern of a very quiet bass note at the very end after the regular melody finishes. None of this has fixed the problem. Any help would be great!

try double clicking on the single note that gives you trouble, and check there if everything is the way it is supposed to be. Sometimes FL gives you trouble with this, it randomly pans some notes, lowers the velocities, even plays a wrong pitch... even though a note is in the correct piano roll position... I guess it is some bug they didn't got around fixing yet. That might help... also are you using some of the native FL instruments or a pluggin? That can make a difference since not all pluggins work well in FL.

Are you using the "Limiter" that may fix the crackle.... (if not, add it in the Main track of the Mixer) .... being too loud is not the only problem may be ... also the frequencies of the samples and the reeverb (may be too much, check the Decay level)....

Are the samples totally free of noises ?

Try to listen part by part to see what produces the crackle, listen the beat and toms alone, then the geterators alone and several combinations...

The uncompleted length its' easy .... add to the playlist an empty pattern, two bars after the last content .... otherwise the FL stops rendering as soon as the last pattern has been completed and cuts the remaining sound .....

nice job...:)
