Fugue for Clarinet & Flute in B♭ Minor

Hey guys,

I composed this small piece for my sister who had just emigrated to Wales, about 2 months ago, entitled "Fugue for Clarinet & Flute in B♭ Minor". It is a piece for both clarinet and flute (With a piano accompianment). Also, I understand that this may not actually classify as a proper fugue, so if anyone can come up with a more appropriate title, I'm open for suggestions.

Well, though it's definitely not fugal, I do like it. :) Some harmonies between the winds sound a bit strange to me, but I can't really put a finger on it without seeing a score.

As for a title...well, I can't really help you there. You certainly don't have to give it a title that denotes musical form if it would make it easier.

As said before, this is not a fugue :) the music was nice, but i think you should change the title! But you should definitley write fuges, a musical challange and it will learn you the handcraft of composition :)

Fugues are easy, canons are the challenge.

How is this a fugue? Not being nasty here, but don't use styles in titles unless you know what they actually mean.

It would be like me saying "Concerto Grosso for 1 violin (sic) in Bb minor" when it is in fact a piece of choral music in sonata form...

I'm definitely going to look at the definitions more closely next time, you have my word :whistling:.
