Totally Brand New Lyric- "Where She Has Gone".

Featured Replies

Alright- I was just hit emotionally with a song that I needed to write. I wrote the words in about 10 minutes, so it's a rough draft, but I thought I'd share it with you musical minds and see what you all had to maybe say about it!

Where She Has Gone

Written: 7/10/09

Verse:

He begins to, look at blank pages,

As it's all set before you.

About the mindless games that would go on for hour.

For the high healed graces that could stop him again and again.

And they, sat close together for the,

game at their high school.

This meant that the grand conversation, went on for hours.

For his guard was let down- for much of the evening.

Has the time forgotten all that much?

Chorus:

You lift the roses up higher than your face,

How did it feel when you began to change place?

It shows a lot that he can mean so much to you.

But the months of changing face are growing few.

And though the days move right along,

He wonders where she's gone.

Verse:

The now falls slowly in the heat of the summer.

She sits with him, talking about his upcoming plans.

Of how he'll go back to school, leaving her an upset fool,

And realizing she'll be home alone in winter.

But so I sit in bed- former memories rush my head.

Of how old charms didn't pull romance out from thin air.

And how one night change a lot about him,

Yet how can things be the same?

Chorus

Bridge:

Somebody told him- not to see you soon.

And for some time he will listen in strife.

He hopes you'll bring joy to life.

Closing Verse:

He sees a picture of you in the studio.

The trees are white- covered in snow.

He just hopes you have some place to go.

Alrighty- there you go!!! It's an awesomely personal song, and like I said it's a rough draft, so some things might get edited, but I'd love to hear what you all might have to say!!!

thanks for the lyrics :-)

Thank you- I appreciate it! All of my lyrics are based off of true events/ people- so it's nice to see that such a personal lyric comes across as decent!!:D

Good composition good job!

don't like the 'strife' 'life' try a partial rhyme instead of a perfect rhyme.
