But if you already use "concerti", at least go all the way and say "viole" and "pizze" as well. Unless of course I wrote two concerti and they each were scored for more than one viola soloist. I usually do say "concerti", it rolls of the tongue better to me, though I do rarely say "concertos" as well. Our Wiki uses the word "concerti". I just went and changed all instances of "concertos" to "concerti", there were only 12 instances site wide. Perhaps you could use this tidbit as additional support for your cause.
