Yeah, I see nothing wrong with using either. As far as I know both are acceptable to use in English. But if you already use "concerti", at least go all the way and say "viole" and "pizze" as well. Saying "I wrote two concerti for violas" is just a bit weird…

I would say "I wrote two concerti for viola" anyways. Unless of course I wrote two concerti and they each were scored for more than one viola soloist. I usually do say "concerti", it rolls of the tongue better to me, though I do rarely say "concertos" as well.

Our Wiki uses the word "concerti". I just went and changed all instances of "concertos" to "concerti", there were only 12 instances site wide. Perhaps you could use this tidbit as additional support for your cause.
