Creating whammy bar fx for guitar

I got a guitar from my uncle. Its a nice guitar with a whammy bar on it. I've also been writing a song on it and now I've been putting all the parts into it on my computer. The only problem is, I have some whole notes at the beginning of the guitar playing some sad chords and when i play them on the guitar while moving the bar slowly up and down, it gives it a more atmospheric feel.

How do I accomplish that same feel in finale (2006)?

Just for the sake of curiosity, I'd like to know if this is possible, too.

I have no idea for finale... but I guess you could just use some sort of pitch bend command....... I know that NWC has a pitch bend option, same thing really...

I'm not much of a guitar player, and so I'm not exactly sure I understand the effect that you're after. But you should experiment with the bend tool from the SmartShape palette. Human Playback will add pitch bend effects to make these playback.
