Start of a journey

Hey-

Simply put, I had a picture in my head, and decided to score it. URL: Start of a Jouney.mp3 - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage

From the beginning, halo music dawned on me. This reminds me a lot of halo music for some reason, the beginning opening seconds before the trumpet comes in.

Other than that, this definitely sound like the beginning of an adventure.

Halo, huh? Well, I guess the rhythm is sort of similar, but I don't know about anything else relating, unless the hours of playing it have sunk in to me already.

Thanks for writing

well, the picture I had in mind when I heard your piece was a hobbit getting out of his cabin (forgot how it's called in english) and passing the part of the shire he knows, with a big excited smile on his face... Just replace the trumpet with a soprano recorder, and this picture is complete...:) No, just kidding. the trumpet is very nice!

This piece is really good!!! I love it!

Some nice ideas in there, but you should have a closer look at your string writing, there's alot of musically not very pleasing parallel movement as well as it is stylisitically not very coherent, you kind of switch between "pop string writing" and "film music string writing" all the time.

Other than that, nice tune.

Hey :)

I really enjoyed this piece, because of its nice mood and feel. You should make a long version :)

I like this a lot!! A tad bit predictable, but it definitely works.

It's so cute and I can't help but smile :D

It's very sweet. I kind of wish the opening trumpet solo was a bit longer, lol, but other than that, it makes for a great opening for any journey.

Creates a great ambience...its kinda video game theme...it was a nice "Jouney":D:thumbsup:

Ps: Dumb ending...
